Community Guidelines
Last updated June 9, 2026
Valentree is for real, in-person connection among adults who want to meet new people. These guidelines keep it welcoming and safe. They apply everywhere on Valentree - your profile, events, chat, and the meetups themselves. Breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension, or removal from Valentree, and they are part of our Terms of Service.
Be respectful
Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. People come from different backgrounds and show up to meet others in good faith - assume the best and be kind.
No harassment
Do not insult, bully, intimidate, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who is not interested. Unwanted sexual advances, comments, or messages are not allowed. "No" means no - in chat and in person.
No discrimination or hate speech
No attacks, slurs, or dehumanizing content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any similar characteristic.
No spam
Do not use Valentree to advertise, promote, recruit, or repeatedly post the same content. Events should be genuine meetups, not a channel to push products or services.
No scams or fraud
Never ask for money, gifts, payment details, or financial help, and do not run deceptive schemes. Valentree is not a place to buy, sell, or solicit anything.
No impersonation
Be yourself. Use your real name and a real, recent photo of you. Do not pretend to be someone else, create fake accounts, or misrepresent who you are.
No illegal activity
Do not use Valentree to plan, promote, or carry out anything illegal, including organizing events whose purpose is unlawful. Follow the laws that apply where you are.
No dangerous or threatening behavior
No threats of violence, no encouraging self-harm, and nothing that puts someone's safety at risk. Do not bring weapons to meetups or behave in a way that endangers others.
Follow event host rules
Hosts may set reasonable expectations for their events (the activity, the vibe, what to bring). Respect them, show up when you commit, and let people know in advance if your plans change.
See something off? Report a profile, message, or event from within the app, or email moderation@valentree.com. If you are ever in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reports are reviewed, and we take action on violations.
