Before

Know what you are joining

Read the whole plan — time, place area, group size, and tone. Check the host's profile and how many plans they have run. Ask questions in the request. Vague plans are a reason to skip. Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back.
During

Public first, always

First gatherings happen in public places — cafes, parks, markets, galleries. Arrange your own way there and back. Keep your drink with you and pace yourself. Never send money. Anyone asking for cash, gifts, or financial help is a red flag. Leave whenever you want. No host is owed the rest of your evening.
After

Say how it went

Rate the event. Ratings stay private to Valentree. Block anyone you do not want to see again — they will not know. Report how someone behaved, or a host who did not show. Every report is reviewed. Repeat no-shows and rule-breaking cost access to plans.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away (for example, 911 in Canada and the United States). Reporting in the app does not contact emergency services and is not a substitute for them.

Community guidelines

Five rules, and they are not negotiable.

01 Be who you say you are Real name, real photo, real intentions.
02 Keep the plan Turn up, on time, or cancel early enough to matter.
03 Take no for an answer Declined requests and quiet exits are both complete answers.
04 Nothing to sell No pitching, recruiting, or promoting at the table.
05 Respect the room Harassment, slurs, or pressure of any kind ends your membership.
